Model 107/2
This KEF loudspeaker is a real design classic. Descended from the legendary Model 105, Model 107/2 really does offer quite remarkable bass extension and exceptional levels of clarity, transparency and image capability. A 25mm (1") aluminium dome tweeter offers additional refinement and an exceptionally well-balanced midrange section gives high resolution and accuracy in soundstaging. Twin input terminals allow bi-wiring and bi-amping. KEF's dual coupled cavity bass loading places maximum power handling and tight control where the musical demands are greatest. Careful load matching and hybrid network design ensure that the system's dynamic range and sensitivity are maximised. In addition a compact enclosure volume of only 72 litres maintains useful response extending downwards to 18Hz and below thanks to the KUBE equaliser - allowing accurate reproduction of those difficult bottom octaves.
