Q55
21/2 way designs are always more difficult to produce than the relatively simple 2 way. Not so for KEF who have pioneered computer design of crossovers in the famous Reference Series.
The Q55 is a 21/2 way design in which each driver is precisely matched, the clear-cone Uni-Q® unit and the separately enclosed bass driver guaranteeing a unique listening experience. All of the new Q models are shielded and the Q55 makes an excellent choice as the front left/right combination in a home theatre system.
- Fourth generation Uni-Q® driver
- 160mm (61/2") midrange unit with 19mm soft dome tweeter
- 160mm (61/2") bass driver
- Bi-wire terminals
- Magnetically shielded for A/V use
- Black, mahogany or video grey finish
