Reference Model Three - Two

Even larger bass drivers and the addition of a dedicated lower mid-range cone are what distinguish Model Three ~ Two from its smaller brethren. The same awesomely competent fourth generation Uni-Q twin driver array is partnered by a 160mm (6.5") polypropylene cone lower mid-range unit and two 200mm (8.5") bass units, yoked together by a force cancelling rod in a 68-litre enclosure for massively extended bass.

With 91dB sensitivity and power handling to match, it's an array capable of creating a dramatically real sound stage throughout the room. Whatever your taste in music, at low volume or high, Model T h re e ~ Two reveals the full emotional range of large scale compositions while at the same time capturing the most finely nuanced instrumental details. The illusion of presence is almost tangible - and thanks to Uni-Q's unrivalled off-axis dispersion, it's experienced throughout the listening area.

Transitions (at 3kHz, 500Hz and 160Hz) are completely imperceptible, thanks to computer pair-matched high order crossovers and & audiophile specification internal wiring and connections. Any unwanted 'box colourations' which would otherwise blur the stereo image are virtually eliminated by acoustically decoupling the front drivers from the cabinet by soft rubber mountings. And like all models in the range, the smoothly contoured baffles are mineral filled to avoid diffraction effects.
