Utilising the same Uni-Q driver arrays used in the Q Series loudspeakers for accurate timbre matching, the new Q2ds creates the perfect ‘diffuse’ surround effect as experienced in movie theatres. With their twin neodymium magnet assemblies, the two 160 mm Uni-Q arrays include KEF’s new 19 mm aluminium dome tweeters and are ideal for reproduction of movie effects. The addition of a downward firing, reflex loaded, 130 mm dedicated bass driver adds weight to the surround effects, so important with today’s digital soundtrack formats.

The heavily braced cabinets, have a curved profile for low diffraction and aesthetic matching with the other Q Series loudspeakers and are (black ash, maple and dark apple). An easy to use keyhole mounting system allows quick and effortless installation on walls for optimum positioning and surround sound effect. Q2ds dipole speakers.
