All the sophistication of XQ five in a chic stand-mount format: the same 'super audio' high frequency extension, thanks to KEF's Hypertweeter. The same outstanding elliptical dome 19mm tweeter / 165mm (6.5")midrange Uni-Q array. A low-distortion 165mm (6.5") bass driver in its own separate enclosure. The same separate high order crossovers for different sections of the frequency spectrum.

The look may be disarmingly simple, but there's no mistaking the richness and complexity of the sound image XQ three can create.

For maximum rigidity and minimum resonance, the clean curves of the cabinet are laminated from layers of thick MDF like the rest of the range. A specially designed stand is available, of course. All you have to do is choose which of the sumptuous contemporary finishes best complements your room: natural maple veneer, Silver, Graphite metallic, Pearlescent White or Maranello Red.
