Throughout the 1990s KEF continued to design class leading, innovative products from the budget Coda 7 to the imposing Reference Series Model 109, whilst at the same time maintaining a strong presence in the critical mid-priced speaker market with the Q Series. The 1990s were notable for the rise of home theatre and multi-channel music with the subwoofer/satellite format coming to prominence. KEF was at the heart of this development with ground-breaking products such as the Model 100 centre speaker.
