Motor Systems

Electrodynamic motors are undergoing a design revolution, thanks in no small part to the maturity of magnetics simulation tools. Using such tools KEF Engineers have developed the Compound neodymium magnet assembly (patent pending) for the new Uni-Q array and high-efficiency motors for the other drivers in the Reference range.

We also undertook an extensive programme of research into the benefits of motor modifications such as Faraday Rings, leading to the Ultra Low Distortion Motor System in the Reference Series LF drivers.
